finally, i knit a sweater...

i learned to knit on my lunch break while i was working for an eye doctor at the valley medical center in renton, washington.  a group of us would gather each afternoon, huddled together in the depths of the optical dispensary, to knit.  dion gave me my first lesson; i made a very ugly and very short scarf.

since that time, i have wanted to knit a sweater.  and though i did make an attempt on numerous occasions, i just never seemed to finish what i started.  well friends, finally i did it!

note: this sweater is for a 6 month old, as i did not have the patience to knit for a full grown adult.  maybe one of you will be lucky enough to receive it. :)

guess I am out of the running... you could knit one for a 1 year old or 4 year old in your spare time. Just sayin! It's adorable BTW!

That's amazing Sarah!!!! I am so impressed... i'd like to be the recipient of this sweater. I know I don't even own a child, but you'd be surprised how I could make this work ;)

You did it! I remember when you told me that was on your list of things to experience before you die. That's wonderful. It's lovely.
