pot roast and condiments...

last sunday's dinner

every time a make a pot roast john pulls out the ketchup.  lately i have suggested he try the meat first, in the hopes that it will be so flavorful that no additional condiments will be necessary.  sadly, the ketchup always makes an appearance.  john says he just really likes ketchup with pot roast, but i am not convinced.

does anyone have a sure to knock your socks off pot roast recipe?  if so, please share.

So I don't have an answer for you because I'm like John . . . I LOVE ketchup on meat, even when it tastes wonderful! So I bet it's not your cooking, just preference :)

That looks very good. You are a good cook and an outstanding photographer as well. I'm writing this just prior to having some dinner so that may prejudice my view.
