newport, rhode island

i tend to work less when people come to town, which is superb.  this extra time allows for trips of tourism that would otherwise not happen.  while we had the tanner's in town, we decided to take a trip to rhode island.  there we viewed many beautiful mansions, decorated for the holidays.  i am still in awe when i think about the lives of these wealthy, early americans.
