last weekend john and i had the chance to get up into the mountains. it was a beautiful day and the company was great (old friend: steve, new friend: eric). i have so missed hiking and backpacking over the past few years. i am hopeful that there will be many more weekends like this throughout the upcoming year.

Looks like a wonderful way to spend a day. We're very glad you're now able to do some of these things.
you forgot Lupus!
We'll have to get some snowshoe days in this winter, as well, before you two head off to heal the world next year.
