trick-or-treat, or not...

in columbus, ohio kids do not trick-or-treat, instead they participate in an evening referred to as beggars night.  beggars night is always on a thursday evening, so it rarely coincides with halloween.  other than that, it is basically the same routine we all grew up with.  it seems that every year we have lived in columbus, john and i have been unable to participate in the halloween festivities due to school/work.  well, this year we celebrated halloween to the fullest.
