kari and i about to go in for a filter surgery

i thought it was about time i write about my current rotation with eye specialists of ohio.

pros: company car with gas money, free lunch every day, my classmate kari as a driving buddy, great staff, tons of diseased eyes, surgeries to watch, and the best part of all--half days.

cons: the company cars break down a lot (kari and i have had three cars in four weeks), some days we spend five and a half hours driving between sites, dr. chawla is well, interesting, and sometimes i feel really stupid.
