john and i have entered a new phase of life...it's the "because i said so" phase.  we no longer report to attending physicians.  yes, we are now the one's calling the shots.  can you believe it?

with this responsibility comes a ton of malpractice insurance and a little bit of pressure.  okay, i'll admit, i feel an enormous amount of pressure.  sometimes i stay up until 3 in the morning reviewing cases and searching the internet for up-and-coming treatment options for my patients.  i know john feels the pressure, as well.

anyway, that's what we've been doing...12+ hours a day...6 days a week.
