i do not think i ever announced that john made it to the summit of rainier. pretty cool, eh? i was sure john had the physical strength to do the climb (mostly because he lived through the whole iron man experience), but i was a little concerned about the weather contribution. as you can probably now imagine, the weather held out and everything went according to plan. though, john said it was very, very cold up top.
