i have always enjoyed valentines day, mostly because it's a holiday that revolves around pink frosted cookies, out-to-dinner dates, and love notes. well, today i have one more reason to smile when i think of this day. let's just say it had something to do with my patient "lighting up" in the exam room, somewhere between "which is better, one or two..."
note: the "cigarette" turned out to be a smoke-less cigarette (which are not aloud in the clinic). none-the-less, i was a bit startled. it resulted in a good laugh for all in the contact lens consult room.
