i mentioned to john last night that is was probably time to take down the christmas lights. he responded, "why? it's our family tradition to leave them up through february." true, february is when we took them down last year, but that was not at all intentional. we just were, well, lazy.
i decided that i would take them down on saturday. and then i thought, the weather has been chilly lately, and the lights sure look pretty in the snow, so maybe we will try a new tradition next year. :)
