john and i were both able to get a few days off over the fourth of july weekend. and so, we headed to seattle. it was the first time i had been home during the sunny season since john and i were married almost three years ago! though the temperature was basically the same as it was at christmas time (55-65 degrees), it was so nice to do all the outdoor things that just aren't as fun when it's raining.
