up until now, my education has consisted of lectures, exams, and grades. well, those days are over...eh, sort of. i cannot say the next year will be grade free, nor can i say there are no exams in my future (step two and three of boards), but i can say that i am totally and completely done with lecture. this week i became a working woman, without the pay.
over the summer i am working at the Chillicothe VA in Chillicothe, Ohio and for the first time i can honestly say that i am enjoying optometry school. i know this rotation is going to be difficult, but i just love all the different people i get to meet.
hardest part of week one at the VA: waking up in the morning--i have to leave my house at 6 am! did you know it's light out at 6 am?
