a day in the life of dr. tanner

most days this is what i observe...

come home sometime between 2 am and 8 am...eat a bowl of cereal...sleep as long as possible (hopefully 6 hours)...eat another bowl of cereal...read scriptures...study for 1-2 hours...eat dinner with sarah and/or get some sort of exercise...shower...and then walk, longboard, or drive (depending on the time and the weather) back to work...

of course, this isn't john's schedule everyday.  occasionally he works a day shift and even less often he gets a day off.  thankfully, john has been blessed with the ability to sleep anytime, anywhere.  otherwise, i cannot comprehend how he or any other could handle this whole residency thing.

so  john, you are amazing.

Let me get this straight...you are doing a residency in a hopsital, presumably have spent some time in an ER, and you still LONGBOARD? Do you know the dangers in that? You are one brave guy! My poor children will be the kids wearing helmets(and in a bubble) to prevent them from any possible danger their ER working mother has ever seen!

Your schedules do sound so hectic, and I cannot even imagine how you function! Hang in there!
