st. george marathon...

while john and i were living in nepal, we decided it would be fun to train for a marathon.  we signed up for the st. george marathon and began our training.  illness made it difficult for john to train regularly, and the high altitude made it tough for me to well, go the distance.

in the end, we both returned to boston with a lot of training to do.  john was extremely diligent in his training and was able to put in the miles necessary to be ready for race day.  i suffered a stress fracture soon after returning to boston, and thus was not able to run on race day.  this ended up being a blessing in disguise, and i was able to enjoy cheering john on from the sidelines with family.

john did a fabulous job, and the scenery for the event was spectacular!
