have i mentioned how much i miss columbus, ohio? well, i really miss columbus, ohio.
columbus is a place where bike trails connect cities, where parking lots are not a novelty, and where ice cream making is a form of art. it is a place where parks are many and expenses are few. it is a place where sporting events seem more like religious worship, and it is a place where religion can be found. in columbus, people are both real and kind. i mean, they really. are. kind.
last month, i travelled to ohio for the wedding of my friend, and colleague, jess. it was a beautiful wedding for an even more beautiful bride (seriously, jess looked like the doll barbie). while in town, i was able to catch up with many good friends. may thanks to alyssa and hans for a fabulous weekend of food, fun, and fireflies!
