february has been full of...well, pain. yesterday, i had my semi-annual dental visit complete with gauge reflex inducing x-rays and a cleaning that leaves your gums sore for days! today was equally painful, as i received my first round of vaccine injections in preparation for our travels (three injections). next week there will be four more, followed by a few extra for good measure two weeks after that! next week also holds the promise of another dental visit to fill a cavity that is not quite a cavity, but could be...someday. the dentist will be filling it ahead of time, as a sort of preventative care thing. mmm....
of course, all this pain is totally worth it. this month of pain will hopeful ensure a healthy and happy return from nepal come june.
