today, john is climbing mt. rainier. i am so excited for him. what a beautiful mountain, eh?
from what john says, the weather has not been cooperating, as of late, and that the last few groups have been unable to summit. i suppose a summit-less climb is not that big of a deal in may, as the cloud coverage prevents you from seeing anything below. awh, seattle weather.
john and i have hopes of climbing mt. rainier together sometime in the next few years (i am requesting a july climb). i am so excited.
