low vision simulation

so, sometimes in optometry school we act like children (like when we wear giant colored sunglasses to graduation), and other times we do projects that only children should do (like the following). over the last few weeks i have been periodically wearing goggles that simulate what it would be like to have debilitating vision loss. though i am glad for the insights into the lives of my patients, it was so embarrassing to explain my appearance to all who caught site of me.

Those goggles are hilarious; yet somehow you still manage to look adorable!
